Effect of grower dietary energy level on feed intake and performance of modern broiler chickens

An experiment was carriedout to investigate the effect of dietary energy level levels on feed intake modern broiler chickens during growth period. A total 160 Ross chicks (mixed-sex) in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and replicates (10 birds) were used. The fed from 11 24 days age treatments, including grower diets 2800, 2900, 3000, 3100 kcal/kg ME constant nutrient ratios. All recommended diet starter (1- 10 days) finisher (25- 42 periods. At end experimentperiod (42 days), performance carcass characteristics measured.The results showed that had no significant average daily for period, but grower's body weight gain conversion ratio.Also, there difference final live relative yield at theexperimentalperiod. In conclusion, growing consume regardless continue up physical satiety.
